ABOUT ME

I  am a psychotherapist and homeopath specializing in individual, couple and adolescent psychotherapy, as well as homeopathic treatment of emotional disorders for children and adults. I maintain a private practice in Petaluma and Berkeley, California.

With over 40 years experience as a clinician, I consult and supervise other therapists in private practice. I have supervised at The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley, and served on the teaching faculty of the Women's Therapy Center in El Cerrito, California for several decades. I have also taught at Sonoma State University and other regional colleges.

I work with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, eating disorders, adolescents, and disorders of the self. This last category includes people who may function well in the world, but have trouble with relationships, and feel isolated and unknown on a deeper level.

I am one of the founding members of Petaluma Psychotherapy Associates (www.petalumapsychotherapy.com), a group practice in Sonoma County. As a group, we cross-consult and cross-refer, so our clients are able to benefit from a variety of specialties and viewpoints. We have a team approach to situations that require multiple therapists or modalities, such as individual, adolescent or couple therapy. We are one of the longest established group practices in Sonoma County.
